Dr. Max Nolan brings a genuine passion for health and helping people feel their best. After earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Max began his journey with our team at the Wishaw clinic, where he spent four years delivering care to patients of all ages and building strong connections within the community.
Max has gone on to open our Corstorphine branch, where he now leads the team as Clinic Director. His approach combines hands-on expertise with a deep respect for the body’s natural ability to heal—ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered on their health journey.
“The human body is an incredible self-regulator & self-healer. Chiropractic is about assisting the body in this process and maintaining these positive changes made to your health and well-being, optimising what your body can achieve.”
Graduating from AECC with a Master’s in Chiropractic, Max is registered with the Scottish Chiropractic Association and the General Chiropractic Council.

Dr. Christopher Stewart, DC, PhD came to chiropractic as a second career after nearly twenty years working in healthcare as an optician, laboratory technician, and manager. It was witnessing the difference that thoughtful, compassionate chiropractic care made in the life of someone close to him that inspired him to change direction and pursue a career in chiropractic.
Christopher trained in the United States, earning undergraduate degrees in Human Biology and Psychology, his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States, and later completing a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and has a genuine passion for learning, research, and continually developing his approach to patient care.
With nine years of experience in practice in the United States, Christopher has performed thousands of chiropractic adjustments and cared for a diverse range of patients, including professional athletes, musicians, medical doctors and surgeons, students, children, and those experiencing pregnancy-related discomfort.
At the centre of Christopher’s approach is the belief that understanding the person is just as important as understanding the condition. He takes time to listen, explain what is happening, and help patients understand their bodies, their options, and the plan ahead.
Originally from the United States, Christopher is proud to now call Scotland home and is delighted to be caring for patients at Maple Clinics in Edinburgh. Outside the clinic, he enjoys cycling, camping, travelling, exploring Scotland, live music, brewing craft beer, and following new research.

William joined the Motherwell team in May 2024 after graduating HND Sports Therapy from City of Glasgow College. After years of seeing how football & basketball players return from injuries and traumas, it sparked an interest in that process and gave him an urge to help people get back on their feet after an injury.
William is currently studying at the Scotland College of Chiropractic, in his first year. He first developed an interest in chiropractic when he would tag along with his mother to her appointments in Glasgow, and found it fascinating and satisfying that adjusting certain joints could have such a positive impact on the body. William is focused on developing his skills as a chiropractor to provide the best care possible for his patients.
He loves spending as much time with his family & friends as possible, studying, watching football, basketball and exercising is what keeps him busy during the week.
